Your money is helping families at Nicholas House by supporting its Economic Empowerment Initiative. Expanding services for employment/career coaching and other current services that help mothers achieve economic self-sufficiency is the goal. A newly hired Employment Navigator works closely with local employers to promote the hiring of homeless job seekers who are using Nicholas House's nonprofit services. The Employment Navigator also conducts outreach to employers and businesses and provides employment preparation, job development and job placement services to homeless job seekers.
Your money (and muscle) is helping homeless veterans get back on their feet with support from United Way’s Mission United Initiative. Mission United provides a network of programs, training, outreach and support services to a number of organizations, including Veterans Empowerment Organization, Another Chance of Atlanta and the Department of Veterans Affairs
For the past two years, more than 60 RentPath employees participated in events focused on ending veteran homelessness. Most popular was our job readiness workshop where employees worked one-on-one with veterans to help them develop strong resumes, hone interview skills and receive Google Suite training. RentPath employees also participated in IT job shadow and data analysis training workshops through the Veteran IT Initiative.
