For some, access to technology is a barrier that prevents them from escaping homelessness and moving out of poverty.
Tech Up is a United Way initiative, created in partnership with Young Professional Leaders. It exists to assist families in underprivileged communities with understanding the fundamentals of using a computer, safety protocols and how it can be used for everyday functions. Knowledge of basic technology allows families to gain the skills, experience and confidence they need to find living-wage jobs.
Becoming a Tech Up Volunteer is easier than you may think!
