Members of the Midwest District 4 Team spent some time on October 21st at the St. Patrick Center in St. Louis, MO, working in two large storage rooms filled wall-to-wall with items donated to the Center which are then provided to their residents. The morning was spent developing an inventory of furniture, cleaning out the food pantry areas, and rearranging and organizing housewares and goods together. In doing so, we were able to provide the Center with a well-organized and streamlined storage areas allowing easy access and location of items.
The St. Patrick Center provides opportunities for self-sufficiency and dignity to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They help individuals and families build permanent, positive change in their lives through safe and affordable housing, sound mental and physical health, plus employment and financial stability.
