In an effort to build a sustainable self-funding organization, the staff at Mary Hall Freedom House decided to open their own thrift store three months ago. They found and leased a vacant store near their current facility, however, the store was in dire need of some good 'ol TLC (tender loving care)!
All it took was some fresh paint, 18 RentPath volunteers and just 4 hours to revive a once outdated thrift store into something special.
Thanks to some very industrious volunteers at RentPath, the store front entrance was transformed into a welcoming environment for customers. Volunteers moved furniture, painted walls and floors as well as created window signage. Their efforts and impact was truly appreciated by members of the Mary Hall Freedom House and surely will have a lasting impact to sustaining the longevity of this wonderful organization.
