November also marks Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless's (IPH)'s 30th anniversary, an organization that has taught the communities it serves that homelessness is not hopelessness.
The Albany sales team and their local clients participated in the first week of IPH's "30 Meals in 30 Days". This campaign is in recognition of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness month and aims to connect volunteers, donors, and other community advocates to the issue of homelessness. Additionally, it encourages meal donations to the organization at least one-per-day in the month of November.
Kara remarked, "The guests were so appreciative of the fresh salads and homemade meatballs, the smiles, and generous appreciation warmed everyone's heart. We look forward to partnering with IPH this December too with a drive to collect wish list items and raise money with the local apartment association for this cause!"
