In addition to multiple volunteer opportunities, RentPath offered daily Lunch & Learn sessions to increase awareness of the types of issues that face our homeless population and what we as individuals can do to make an impact in our local communities! Over 190 employees, across all departments, took the opportunity to get educated, inspired, and engaged!
Julia Kelly, Homelessness Department, United Way
Julia is a formerly homeless U.S. Army veteran who is now a homelessness intake coordinator for United Way of Greater Atlanta. Julia works as part of United Way’s Homelessness team to ensure that people are given the tools and resources they need to pull themselves out of homelessness and onto a path of self-sufficiency. United Way of Greater Atlanta is proud to have a program dedicated specifically to supporting local veterans: Vets Connect helps homeless veterans get back on their feet, working to end homelessness among veterans through a network of programs, training, outreach, and support services.
