"My experiences with RPGB have been very rewarding. My most memorable moment was when my team and I were volunteering with an organization that provides furniture and apartment assistance for families or individuals emerging from homelessness.
We were able to move in furniture, beds, kitchen utensils and provide basic home necessities. I remember one girl was in the foster care system and aged out. Essentially once they were out of the system they were on their own and basically on the streets. She took great pride in getting a job and with help of the organization in securing an apartment. Her home literally had bedding on the floor and her artwork on the walls. When we left her apartment it looked like a home! It was very fulfilling to help someone who was working so hard to make it this world with such a rough start."
