Colorado Gives Back to Denver Rescue Mission 9/9/16

The Denver and Colorado Springs team came together to serve food to over 120 people located at the Denver Rescue Mission.

We put on our hairnets, aprons and started cutting up vegetables to help prepare lunch. We then started our lunch line service and dished up delicious meals to the patrons with a smile. One of our SE's, Michele To would even break out into song making the patron's and her team members laugh.

The Denver Rescue Mission offers two different programs to help get people off of the streets in Denver. The first program is to bring families off of the street, give them a place to live while they find jobs and are able to get back on their feet. This is a 4 - 24 month program. The second program is for men who have problems with substance abuse. They bring them in off the streets and through Christian counseling programs, help them get off of their addiction, find jobs and become a healthy part of society. This is a 12 - 48 month program.

Everyone who came through the line were very appreciative and it made our team feel good to be able to give back to the less fortunate and we look forward to doing it again!

Our team consisted of: Alli Malliton, Michele To, Michelle Hartley, and Jack Krayniak
